Annie Hotmer - advisory board chair
BeautiControl Director Annie Kleoppel thought she knew the value of a dollar. She grew up as one of nine children. But it wasn't until she was introduced to the W.H.O. Foundation that she really learned the significant impact just one dollar could make. Annie has always been an advocate for W.H.O., giving generously and encouraging her team to do the same. The money she receives from spa socks at her spas goes directly to W.H.O. “It is my goal to open the eyes and hearts of those I meet along my journey. I want to help them understand the impact their one dollar will have when they pay it forward. It is my mission to help better one life at a time through spa, and $1 at a time.” |

Shelly Tingle - Advisory Board Chair Elect
Shelly began sharing BeautiControl in 2005 and was a Director by January 1, 2006. Originally, she wasn't planning to use BeautiControl as a business venture. But when her Spa Bag arrived, she got so excited; Shelly decided she had to share the opportunity with others. “What an incredible opportunity to be a part of an organization that has the ability to touch so many lives in such a meaningful way. BeautiControl is the 'gift' that was given to me and the W.H.O. Foundation is a way for me to give back.”

She’s been a part of the BeautiControl family for 23 years and is a Senior Executive Director on her way to becoming a National Executive Director. Peggy is a strong believer in the W.H.O. Foundation and its power to help women and children every where. “For sixteen years, W.H.O. has had my heart. My goal has always been to give back as much as I can. It has been my honor and privilege to work with everyone at W.H.O. and consistently help those in need.”

Vicki Bryson
Vicki joined BeautiControl the last day of February 2003 and became a Director one year later. At that time she worked full time at the post office and would do her SPAs a couple of times per week after she finished her mail route. She got such great joy from seeing the SPA Experience help “Build Up” people in different ways. After three years she decided to leave the post office and work her BeautiControl business fulltime as her income from BeautiControl was exceeding her income from the post office. With the support of her wonderful husband, Scott, she tendered her resignation and never looked back! She has earned many trips and cars but her TRUE happiness lies in the lives that are touched and empowered through the gift of SPA! The W.H.O has been an important part of BeautiControl for her and a few years ago she was selected as a recipient of a W.H.O. Volunteer Service Grant for “Cleaning for a Reason”. This nonprofit provides housecleaning free of charge for those that are going through cancer treatment. Vicki and her team always include a W.H.O. raffle to raise money for W.H.O. at their team rallies. Vicki is honored to be part of the W.H.O. Advisory Board and is excited about exploring the different opportunities to raise money for those less fortunate.

Debra Cannon
In 2005, Debra joined BeautiControl and is now an Executive Director. During her term on the W.H.O. Advisory Board, Debra would like to increase Consultant and Director involvement with the Foundation, making it a basic part of every Consultant's BeautiControl experience. Debra is an avid supporter of the W.H.O. Foundation through both BeautiU, where she works diligently to have 100% of her attendees sign up for the W.H.O. Pledge, and through her Unit, where 80% of her Unit's new recruits were signed up for the W.H.O. Pledge. Her focus as an Advisory Board member will be to enhance outreach to the community, particularly in the areas of women's and children's health issues. She is a nurse practitioner, so this is an area that has always been a priority for her and she knows firsthand that the need is great.

Tammy Clary
Tammy has been with BeautiControl for 24 years and as a top achiever she has traveled the world and had the opportunity to do so many things that many people only dream of. When she first joined BeautiControl, she had no idea that it would become her life – but she is proud to say she is a “lifer” now! In 2004 Tammy was the W.H.O. Advisory Board Chair and it was one of the most fulfilling years she has spent with BeautiControl. She is excited to serve on the Board again and she hopes to make W.H.O. a common word for every BeautiControl Consultant and raise awareness with clients as well. She has been a supporter of the Foundation for many years and she and her team have a W.H.O. fundraiser at every team meeting. Tammy recognizes that through BeautiControl Consultants and Directors, the Foundation has touched so many lives and this is just one more reason to be a strong leader and a part of BeautiControl.

Susie Huebner Susie became a Consultant in August of 2008 after being invited to her sister-in-law's spa. She loved the products and shared the Instant Manicure with her friends right away. Her friend decided she wanted to do SPAs and challenged her to do it for 6 months with her and in May of 2009 she became a Director. Susie believes strongly in helping others as she has been helped in the past. For her, the Foundation is an exceptional way to help women get their feet back on solid ground. As a member, Susie is committed to helping raise the bar and get ALL Consultants to contribute at least $1 per order and ask those that are already contributing to raise their level by $1 for each order. She had always contributed to W.H.O. with each order, but at Director Summit in 2010 she signed up to pledge each month as well. Now she always encourages each new team member to contribute and provides time at every team meeting for her Unit Chairperson to promote W.H.O. as well. The W.H.O. Care Bear program is very special to Susie and her team as there have been many in her Unit who have gone through difficult times. She is honored to be part of the W.H.O. Advisory Board.

nedra kanavel
When Nedra was 27, the BeautiControl opportunity changed her life and opened doors she had only dreamed of. Nedra was feeling unfulfilled with the life she was leading, but BeautiControl changed all of that for her. Within six years, she and her husband had both quit their full-time jobs and were living a new life they created and loved – thanks to BeautiControl. “BeautiControl saved us! W.H.O. is a way for me to give back what BeautiControl gave to us. I always contribute financially and with my time – like taking part in the W.H.O. Walk. I can’t wait to become even more involved than I already am.”

Frances Ramirez Frances joined BeautiControl in November 2005, during maternity leave for her 2nd child. She had felt unfulfilled and unable to accomplish what she longed for and BeautiControl helped her find hope for a new way of life. She is now an Executive Director and has the opportunity to spend more time with her children as well as empowering women every day to find and enjoy a better life. She is always looking for a way of giving back to the community because of all the blessings her family receives from BeautiControl. W.H.O. is another way to get the message out to the public and impact more people. As an Advisory Board member, she wants to educate people about W.H.O., especially in Puerto Rico, where there is so much need and so few people that get involved. Her mission is to help promote the Foundation through increased awareness and through fundraising. Since she became a Director, she has donated to W.H.O. from her commissions and through orders and she encourages her team to do the same.

Loreen makes it her mission to help as many women as she can to have beautiful, radiant skin and more importantly grow in confidence and job security. “I would like to thank my BeautiControl team who embraces the importance of W.H.O. The W.H.O. Foundation goes where we don’t always go in our Spas – to women and children who desperately need help. I love that W.H.O. gives us the chance to go there and make a huge difference together!”
